Overview - Nong Nooch Botanical Gardens Pattaya Thailand
Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, besides its fame as the biggest and the most beautiful botanical garden in Southeast Asia, you will experience various kinds of fascinating and impressive Thai cultural and traditional dance shows as well as Elephant show and Mini Zoo. There are two good restaurants as well as many refreshment areas spaced all around the park and gardens. You can rent mountain bikes and or take a open bus to some of the beautiful gardens. There are also Elephant rides from which you get a beautiful perspective of the gardens. The beautiful park offers:
- The largest variety of Orchids
in Thailand – more than 670 native species and hybrids are kept here for planting and research purposes.
- The Fountain Garden – another beautiful place worth picturing.
- Wrightia Religiosa Garden – one of the most popular plants
in Thailand.
- Bromeliad House – see the beauty of either fascinating flowers or fantastically colourful leaves of more than 300 species from worldwide.
- Clay Pot Garden Display – constructed in 1998 was designed and produced by Nong Nooch Garden.
- Man-made Waterfalls – perfectly complements the natural surroundings.
- Flower Hill – see a wide variety of tropical flowers.
- European Garden – a “European” style garden completed with statues.
- Bon-Sai Collection – a vast collection of Bon-Sai, ranging from small to large size.
- Stonehenge – see the stone circle imitating those from the Stonehenge in U.K.
- Cactus and Succulent Garden – see more than 300 species from worldwide.
- Butterfly House – walk through to observe closely the life cycle of exotic species of butterflies from worldwide.
- Butterfly Hill – beautifully designed and created out of fifty thousand flowers and ornamental plants.
- Mini Zoo – see up close and take photos with animals such as gibbons, monkeys, birds, tigers, as well as other hard-to-find animals.
- Antique Hall – a miniature museum where some of Tansacha’s family belongings are kept. Items include antique jewellery, Buddha image statues, personal possessions as well as other objects of arts over one hundred years old.
